The Intercessors: They Walk Among Us is an enthralling short story collection that will bring a smile to anyone who loves inspiring tales. Reading this anthology lifts your spirits and reinvigorates your belief in humanity. These narratives touch upon a wide range of themes. However, the core lessons primarily focus on some of the better aspects of human nature, such as kindness, hope, empathy, and love. Almost all of these tales feature people who have navigated hardships in their lives in different ways. Through these stories, author D.L. Norris illustrates how timely interventions and interactions, even from strangers with kindness and empathy in their hearts, can transform people’s lives. The stories are inspired by real events, and this makes them all the more impactful. I love reading short stories, and this is one of the best collections I’ve read this year. Highly recommended. ~ Reviewed by Pikasho Deka for Readers’ Favorite
